This is Wokabulary

Obviously, I've changed two letters to make a new word.  This, to symbolize what is happening in our culture.  Sometimes words are changed, sometimes initials are assigned, and sometimes a recognized word is simply redefined.

This WOKABULARY has been taking place for many years now.  I will begin this list with two examples and invite the readers to share the changes and redefinitions they have noticed.

I have kept a student dictionary from my school years and some of the terms we now read, didn't even exist at the time this dictionary was published.  It's been several years . . . and now I am an old lady that knows stuff; and notices stuff!

Nearly 3000 years ago, the prophet, Isaiah, prophesied that evil would be called good and good, evil.  For those who are not WOKE, but AWAKENED, it has become obvious that the vocabulary is changing.

When I first saw the initials PC, I thought it was a reference to "personal computer."  It may have been, back then, but we all know now, PC is the monogram of "Political Correctness."

Bad Intelligence

  When there is a calamitous outcome, government officials have a catchphrase, and usually pass the buck.  Bad intelligence is the excuse made by the executive branch in blaming another agency or bureaucracy for giving misinformation. For those of us who are not politicians, bad intelligence means a stupid decision!
